Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Ventilation Specialist - Clinical Expert to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing top-notch respiratory care to our patients in need of ventilation therapy.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients with complex ventilation needs, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
- Collaborate with referring physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers to facilitate timely and effective treatment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies related to ventilation therapy.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- An Associate's degree from an accredited respiratory program.
- A valid and unrestricted Respiratory Therapist (RT) license in all states serviced by our branch.
- CPR certification.
- At least one year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT, or clinical nursing with Vent experience.
- A valid and unrestricted driver's license.
You will possess:
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of ventilation therapy, airway clearance, and oxygen management.
- Strong decision-making abilities, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
This role requires:
- The ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, bend, and sit at a computer for extended periods.
- The capacity to perform CPR and provide one-man assistance if necessary.
- Occasional exposure to unsanitary conditions in patient homes.
- Adaptability to varying office environments and potential stressors.
