At AdaptHealth LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a Ventilation Specialist. This role requires the ability to provide high-quality patient care, work independently, and collaborate with healthcare professionals.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients. As a Ventilation Specialist, you will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients with ventilator dependence, ensuring their optimal outcomes and improving their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with ventilator dependence, including ventilation setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized plans of care for each patient.
  • Conduct regular assessments of patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, including medication administration, vital signs, and laboratory results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.
Requirements
  • Associates degree from an AMA-approved respiratory program or equivalent experience.
  • Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by the branch.
  • CPR certification.
  • One (1) year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT, or clinical nursing with Vent experience.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They must also be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
