Fraud and Risk Analysis Specialist
Join our exceptional team of analysts dedicated to the meticulous examination of potential fraudulent transactions. Our primary objective is to assess the risk associated with these transactions to prevent fraudulent activities from occurring. We are in search of new team members to strengthen our defense against fraudulent behavior. Fraud analysts are chiefly responsible for evaluating individual transactions and making informed decisions based on the available data. We value diverse strengths and appreciate the significance of each individual's contributions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the team in mitigating fraud, benefiting both the organization and our clients.
- Work autonomously while contributing to the overall objectives of the team and department.
- Conduct thorough analyses of transactions to assess the associated fraud risk.
- Participate in special projects both within and outside the primary workflow as needed.
- Help identify and report any bugs or issues affecting the team’s performance.
- Investigate transactional and customer records to connect unidentified transactions and accounts to known fraudulent activities.
- Execute standard SQL database queries to extract data and generate standardized reports.
- Analyze acquired data and reports to detect emerging fraudulent activities.
- Continuously enhance skills and understanding of current fraud trends.
- May assist with or lead special projects in a timely manner, as requested.
- Maintain or exceed established performance standards.
- Possess strong internet research, Microsoft Office, and overall PC skills; SQL experience is a valuable asset.
