Corporate Litigation Paralegal Job Description

Total Wine & More is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Litigation Paralegal to join our Legal department at our Bethesda, Maryland headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide paralegal and executive administrative support in areas of general legal department support, litigation management, regulatory compliance, legal research, contracts, and other legal responsibilities.
  • Organize and maintain high-volume electronic files and databases, including Relativity.
  • Develop and prioritize tasks to ensure logical and efficient completion.
  • Handle highly confidential information regarding the company's legal and internal operations.
  • Perform legal research and work extensively with members of management.
  • Support in various legal matters, including compliance, contracts, and litigation.
  • Assist with administrative duties, including file organization, managing correspondence, preparation of expense reports, and meeting coordination.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate.
  • 5+ years' experience as a high-volume litigation paralegal in a law firm, preferably with class action experience.
  • Strong technical skills in Excel and document management systems, such as Relativity and Concordance.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of management and external parties.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
