Job Summary

As an Administrative Support Specialist with the City of Laredo, you will play a vital role in providing administrative and clerical support to the Police Department. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving and processing invoices, requesting quotes from vendors, and assisting with billing questions or concerns. Additionally, you will assist with the development and implementation of department records management programs, maintain inventory of office and janitorial supplies, and prepare and maintain records and files of fire personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receives and processes invoices in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Requests quotes from vendors and assists with billing questions or concerns.
  • Assists with development and implementation of department records management program.
  • Maintains inventory of office and janitorial supplies.
  • Prepares and maintains records and files of fire personnel.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in high-level administrative support.
  • Valid Texas Driver License.
