Job Summary

Nursing Care Partners are unlicensed staff members who work under the direct supervision of a professional nurse to implement delegated aspects of nursing care. They provide patient care, support the admissions and discharge process, and comply with patient safety practices under the direction of the professional nurse.

Responsibilities
  • Observe patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions and report any changes to the nursing team.
  • Provide patient care, including taking vitals, drawing blood, and daily care.
  • Support the admission and discharge process, including changing, bathing, and ambulating patients.
  • Meet patient needs while working under the direct supervision of a nurse.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • AHA BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  • One year of healthcare experience preferred.
