Job Summary

Patient Care Technicians play a vital role in the healthcare team, working under the supervision of professional nurses to provide patient care and support the admissions and discharge process. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care, including taking vitals, drawing blood, and assisting with daily care
  • Support the admission and discharge process, ensuring a smooth transition for patients
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
  • Observe patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions and report any changes to the nursing team
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire
  • One year of healthcare experience preferred
