Seasonal Staff Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Children's Health (Dallas) in a Seasonal Staff Nurse - Behavioral Health position. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient and family experiences.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and utilize the nursing process to deliver developmentally appropriate care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive plans of care.
- Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate patient care, utilizing clinical judgment and evidence-based guidelines.
- Ensure patient care meets standards of safety, effectiveness, patient rights, and guest relations.
- Oversee care delivered by patient care teams and coordinate plans of care.
- Provide education and facilitate learning for patients, families, and patient care teams.
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement plans of care.
- Four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas required.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification required.
- Initial Pediatric Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behaviors (PPMAB) training required.
