Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competently perform radiology procedures to produce quality images
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers through competent patient assessment and effective communication
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and policies to ensure patient privacy and safety
  • May perform specific procedures and/or help orient other staff to the department
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist (from state where work is being performed)
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire
  • 2 years recent relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment
  • Ability to perform routine radiographic examinations and basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including prioritizing assignments and working within standardized operating procedures
