About the Role

French Hospital Medical Center, a renowned healthcare institution, is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join their team. As a key member of the diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures, including radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with precision and accuracy, utilizing ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
  • Assume responsibility for specific radiographic procedures, including angiography, cardiac catheterization, CT, MRI, and mammography.
  • Work independently, demonstrating competence in all routine, fluoroscopic, and surgical x-ray procedures.
  • Collaborate with the diagnostic supervisor to maintain a smooth workflow, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient department operations.
Qualifications
  • X-ray experience with 5 or more years of experience, or 2 years of experience as a Rad Tech with certification and/or competence in another imaging modality.
  • Ability to work in multiple imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, and mammography.
  • Current certifications in CT, XRT, and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A.A. degree in a related field.
