Position Summary: As the Senior Market Access Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our mission-driven organization, focused on improving the lives of patients with untreated ENT conditions. Your contributions will directly impact our commitment to innovation and superior patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive education on billing, coding, coverage, and reimbursement related to Aerin Medical's product offerings. Maintain open communication with the Market Access Director and Vice President of Medical Policy and Reimbursement regarding reimbursement challenges affecting our product line and collaborate on strategies to enhance payer reimbursement and access.
  • Implement payer engagement strategies within designated regions to ensure patient access and reimbursement for all Aerin Medical products.
  • Facilitate reimbursement education for internal and external stakeholders through training sessions, webinars, and customer support interactions.
  • Engage in team development, conduct research for new business opportunities, and manage various ad hoc projects. Strong analytical capabilities are essential.

Qualifications:

Education:

· A Bachelor's degree in business, Health/Life Sciences, Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

· Certification as a Professional Coder is advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience:

· A minimum of 7 years in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical device sectors.

· At least 5 years of experience in a reimbursement or market access capacity.

· Intermediate knowledge of medical device coding, regulations, reimbursement methodologies, and commercial payer operations is required.

· Proven time management and organizational skills with a history of independent work.

· Experience in developing and implementing reimbursement strategies is preferred.

· Background in ENT is beneficial but not essential.

· A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and integrity, capable of maximizing productivity to achieve challenging objectives.

· Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to foster cross-functional relationships.

· An innovative thinker with problem-solving abilities to propose solutions and prioritize key initiatives.

· Familiarity with the medical device industry reimbursement environment (CPT, HCPCS, MFS, OPPS, MAC, LCD, NCD, etc.) is important.

· Established network of payer stakeholders.

· Ability to analyze information and evaluate risk potential.

· Capacity to assess reimbursement policies and their implications.

· Skills to cultivate collaborative relationships with key decision-makers and opinion leaders.

· Candidates should reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zone.

Technical Skills:

· Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

· Ability to influence reimbursement decisions effectively.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Travel Requirements:

· This position necessitates up to 50% domestic travel.

Compensation:
