We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Education Instructor to join our team at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. As a key member of our education team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality programs that connect children to plants and the natural world.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging and interactive educational programs for children of various ages and abilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver programs that meet the needs of diverse audiences
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure program success
  • Prepare and maintain program materials, supplies, and equipment
  • Contribute to the development of program evaluations and assessments
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in education, horticulture, natural sciences, or a related field
  • Experience teaching in a classroom or informal setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends
About the Arboretum

The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is a 1,200-acre public garden and education center located in Chaska, Minnesota. We are a member of the American Public Garden Association and an accredited museum through the American Alliance of Museums.
