Mission or Goal of Unit: The Department of Internal Medicine at the Commonwealth of Virginia aims to provide superior, compassionate, and innovative clinical care to patients using state-of-the-art knowledge and resources. The Division of Infectious Diseases offers clinical care to patients with various infectious processes in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Our team of eighteen faculty members is dedicated to conducting and disseminating cutting-edge biomedical research and scholarship.

Chief Purpose of this position: This position is an hourly faculty position for a Hospital Epidemiologist/General Infectious Diseases Faculty member at MCVP. The successful candidate should have completed Fellowship in Infectious Diseases and have experience within hospital epidemiology and/or antimicrobial stewardship.
