Position Overview

The Clinical Nurse Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing patient care and service delivery. This position emphasizes the importance of quality care through a collaborative approach that assesses, monitors, and enhances services tailored to the unique needs of each patient. The supervisor works closely with patients and their families, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution
  • Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state
  • A minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience, with a preference for experience in geriatric care. CPR certification is mandatory

Key Responsibilities

  • Possess expert knowledge in the nursing field
  • Make independent decisions when required
  • Stay informed about relevant practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines
  • Implement and interpret departmental policies, objectives, and procedures
  • Demonstrate proficiency in areas such as patient rights, safety, and sanitation
  • Foster professional relationships with colleagues, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Uphold confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Adhere to company policies, Code of Conduct, and compliance protocols
  • Exhibit integrity and professionalism by completing all required training

Core Duties

  • Manage, coordinate, and deliver patient care and services
  • Assist in evaluating the quality of care provided to patients
  • Guide licensed staff and nursing assistants in prioritizing patient care needs
  • Assess patient requirements and formulate care plans accordingly
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a positive demeanor towards patients
  • Support patient evacuation procedures when necessary
  • Demonstrate reliable attendance and utilize critical thinking skills
  • Communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team
  • Perform physical tasks as required during working hours
  • Read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language proficiently
