Qualifications and Licensure

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the applicable state, maintaining good standing
  • A minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience, with a preference for geriatric care. CPR certification is required

Key Responsibilities

  • Possess expert knowledge in the nursing field
  • Make independent decisions when necessary
  • Stay informed about relevant practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines
  • Implement and interpret departmental policies, objectives, and procedures
  • Demonstrate proficiency in areas including patient rights, safety, and sanitation

  • Uphold confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Understand and adhere to company policies, the Code of Conduct, and compliance protocols

Essential Duties

  • Manage, coordinate, and deliver patient care and services
  • Assist in evaluating the quality of patient care
  • Guide licensed staff and CNAs in prioritizing patient care needs
  • Assess patient requirements and formulate care plans
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a positive demeanor towards patients
  • Support patient evacuation procedures when necessary
  • Demonstrate reliable attendance and effective reasoning skills
  • Communicate proficiently within an interdisciplinary team
  • Perform physical tasks as required during working hours
  • Read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language effectively
