The Post-Harvest Associate will be responsible for preparing and processing harvests for flower sales and oil extraction. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manicuring and Preparation: Manicure cannabis in preparation for packaging, ensuring accurate weighing and recording of post-harvest material and cannabis products.
- Standard Operating Procedures: Follow SOPs for debucking, trimming, grinding, drying, and curing cannabis harvests in preparation for oil extraction and/or flower sales.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a neat and organized work area, ensuring proper segregation of materials and processes, and perform daily tasks such as washing and sanitizing equipment and racking systems.
- Quality Control: Conduct routine and real-time visual quality inspections of cannabis products for correct product consistency while trimming.
- Record Keeping: Accurately weigh, count, and record cannabis products.
- Regulatory Compliance: Comply with all applicable government regulations and Company policies and procedures, including sanitation, security, workplace safety, and confidentiality.
- Training and Development: Participate in upfront and ongoing training to master skills needed to complete relevant tasks.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and communicate issues, assist in troubleshooting, and implement corrective actions.
- Audits and Compliance: Assist in preparing for audits and assist state and local governmental auditors and law enforcement with their audits as needed.
- Data Tracking: Track data to comply with applicable rules and support management decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Contribute ideas to help improve Company's choices for ingredients, equipment, and methodologies, policies, SOPs, and training materials.
- Organizational Skills: Well-organized and able to keep deadlines.
- Teamwork: Works well with all peers.
- Time Management: Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
- Technical Skills: Basic Excel, Word, and general computer knowledge.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Full knowledge of all applicable law, regulations, and requirements to keep the facility at 100% compliance at all times.
- Age and Background: Must be 21 years or older and pass any and all required pre-employment screenings.
- Compliance: Must be and remain compliant with any and all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry.
- Communication: Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
