Job Title: Public Health Consultant
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Consultant to join our team at the State of Michigan. As a Public Health Consultant, you will play a critical role in coordinating the implementation of programs and services related to prevention of community violence and associated risk factors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the implementation of programs and services related to prevention of community violence and associated risk factors.
- Develop, implement, manage, and evaluate community violence intervention grants.
- Provide contract management, technical assistance, partner outreach, and internal coordination on CVI community and health equity strategies.
- Collaborate with community partners to develop and implement effective community violence intervention strategies.
Requirements:
- Possession of a master's degree in public health, health communication, health policy, or a public health-related field.
- Four years of professional, post-master's experience as a consultant in a field of public health equivalent to a Public Health Consultant.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
