Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant Certified will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to our medical team, ensuring the efficient functioning of clinical services and maintaining positive relationships with patients and company representatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and visitors promptly and courteously, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Answer telephones, transfer calls, and screen incoming calls as needed.
  • Assist in coordinating services, providers, and personnel to ensure smooth and timely patient service.
  • Schedule patient visits and testing, preparing patient charts and department forms as required.
  • Accurately obtain and enter client demographics, audiometric results, vital signs, patient history, and other data into our computer system.
  • Obtain vital signs and patient history information, recording accurately in patient records.
  • Provide occupational health services, including pulmonary function testing, hearing testing, CLIA-waived laboratory testing, and respirator fit testing.
  • Administer medication and immunizations within scope of practice and as ordered by the provider.
  • Clean and stock exam rooms, order medical supplies and equipment, and maintain calibration records.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of Medical Assistant course or equivalent with qualifications required for MA-C certification.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Previous work experience in a medical setting (desirable but not required).
  • Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office or equivalent programs.
Compensation:

$20-$25 hourly wage.
