Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, utilizing World Market service standards and representing the World Market brand.
  • Stock merchandise according to visual standards, schematics, and productivity standards.
  • Cashier according to customer service guidelines and register procedures.
  • Maintain the stockroom and sales floor organization and standards.
  • Adhere to all Company loss prevention policy and procedures, and distressed merchandise procedures.
  • Physically unload trucks as needed.

Requirements

  • A can-do attitude and commitment to contributing to a collaborative, open-minded, adaptable, honest, and respectful culture.
  • 1 year's experience in retail preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to initiate a conversation.
  • Minimum age 16 years.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Hourly Pay Range is $16.28-$16.78. All associates receive paid sick leave (one hour for every 30 hours worked), up to 3 days of paid bereavement leave, and $1 per hour holiday premium pay. Associates are able to enroll in our company's 401(k) plan with partial company matching. In addition, Full-time associates receive 5 days of paid vacation, 8 paid Holidays, 3 paid Floating Holidays, up to 2 additional days of paid bereavement leave, and up to 5 days of paid jury duty leave. Full-time associates (and their families) are offered medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
