Store Manager in Training Role

At Insomnia Cookies, we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Store Manager in Training. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supervising and training team members, leading new staff onboarding, and supporting the Store Ops Manager with ordering and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and train a team of 2-5 team members engaged in cookie sales and customer deliveries.
  • Lead new hourly staff onboarding and initial training.
  • Support Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling.
  • Hold staff accountable to Insomnia Cookies' standards.
  • Upsell and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or retail store.
  • Prior experience conducting in-person interviews of hourly support staff.
  • Prior Point of Sale (POS) systems experience.
  • Ability to utilize MS Office, Word, and our Applicant Tracking System.
  • Ability to work a 4-5 day work week and 1-2 mid-to-late shifts throughout the latter part of the week.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and have legal eligibility for employment in the United States.
