Position Summary:

The Finance Manager will serve as a strategic partner to both plant and financial leadership, responsible for managing and directing financial operations at the plant level. This role includes overseeing general accounting, accounts receivable, order processing, billing, cost accounting, financial reporting, expenditure analysis, and forecasting. Collaboration with global financial teams will also be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to all financial policies and accounting practices at the plant level.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements and budget comparisons.
  • Monitor and classify expenditures to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Engage in cost planning activities aimed at reducing expenses and enhancing profitability.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial results and forecasts to management.
  • Collaborate with logistics to verify inventory accuracy and financial reporting.
  • Conduct audits of material costs and labor reporting to ensure accuracy.
  • Evaluate potential obsolete inventory on a monthly basis.
  • Reconcile inter-company accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Assess internal controls to guarantee accurate reporting of assets and results.
  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and resolve any related inquiries.
  • Manage cash accounts across various currencies and ensure proper allocation.
  • Oversee relationships with banking institutions and related reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration; CMA, MPA, or CPA preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on cost management and financial reporting.
  • Strong expertise in cash management and treasury functions.
  • Proficient in dual-currency accounting.
  • High proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
