Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall, Tunica. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling room assignments, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our valued guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service: Provide friendly and efficient service to guests, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional manner.
- Room Assignments: Assign rooms to guests, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of room keys and other guest requests.
- Check-in and Check-out: Process guest check-ins and check-outs, handling room changes and other requests as needed.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest service.
- Cash Handling: Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Reporting: Run reports and maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum 6 months front desk experience required.
- Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, basic office machine operation, and typing speed of 45 WPM or higher.
- Certifications: Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications and licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
