Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Manager-In-Training (MIT). As an MIT, you will participate in a comprehensive training program that will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in training and quality control of staff
  • Learn and perform the job assignments of housekeeper, heavy housekeeper/floor tech, and laundry worker positions
  • Develop leadership skills to accomplish responsibilities without supervision
  • Ensure quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met
  • Train staff on policies and procedures, and federal/state requirements
  • Maintain records of income and expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with client managers, building occupants, and administrators
  • Ensure a safe and sanitary environment is maintained at all times
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic computer skills with ability to maintain records and complete reports
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to work around food and cleaning products
  • Must live in the service area
