Job Description

Job Summary:

Hire Military Talent is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Administrator to support our project managers and work closely with subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Assist project managers in planning, organizing, and executing construction projects.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain and update project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Project Tracking: Track project progress, identify potential issues, and assist in resolving them promptly.
  • Reporting and Scheduling: Prepare and distribute project reports, meeting minutes, and other documentation as required. Manage project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
  • Financial Management: Assist in budget tracking and financial reporting for projects.
  • Administrative Support: Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and answering phone calls.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a construction administrative role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Procore or Viewpoint is highly desirable.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
