The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team in a fast-paced production environment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly and packaging of airline meals and retail products, ensuring that every item meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of assembly employees in packing and preparing airline meals and retail products according to customer specifications.
  • Monitor work performed within the department to ensure quality standards are met and maintain a fluid schedule of open work items with target start and end dates.
  • Assist in ensuring proper training and development of all assembly employees.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of dish room staff, including dishwashers and other support personnel.
  • Train new staff on proper dishwashing and sanitation procedures.
  • Enforce safety and sanitation regulations in the dish room area.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including disposal of waste and recycling materials.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food processing, grocery store produce, delicatessen, or hospitality industries.
  • Industry experience with a solid understanding of food safety, regulatory compliance, and GMP.
  • Strong knowledge of sanitation and safety standards related to dishwashing operations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products; familiarity with payroll and scheduling software.
