Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the operation of our 2nd shift production line in Wilmington, MA. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient production of our products, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and food safety.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production line workers to ensure efficient and safe production.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure that all employees are following safety protocols.
- Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with the production manager to achieve production goals and objectives.
- Ensure that all products meet quality and food safety standards.
- Train and develop production line workers to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the production manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
