Job Summary:

The Material Handler is a critical role within our manufacturing facility and/or distribution center, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Forklift Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklift or stand-up lift equipment to receive, warehouse, and ship product.
  • Vehicle Safety Checks: Perform regular vehicle safety checks and report any discrepancies to the supervisor, ensuring all equipment is stored at the end of each shift.
  • Primary Distribution Center Functions: Be proficient in one of the following functions: Production Receiving, Case Pick, Pallet Running, or other assigned tasks.
  • Quality and Safety: Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to customer standards for product specifications and acceptable quality.
  • Reporting and Communication: Read and follow instructions regarding daily expectations, requirements, or specifications, and report any product deficiencies, food or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Requirements and Expectations:
  • Adhere to Safety Procedures: Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training, maintaining a safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and personnel.
  • Support GMPs: Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices, and support emergency action plans as needed.
