Position Overview

We are seeking a Certified NAS 410 FPI Level 1 or Level II Inspector with a strong background in aerospace. This role requires specific qualifications and experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) using fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI) methods.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
  2. Certification to NAS 410 NDT FPI Level I or Level II, with a preference for Method D.
  3. Experience with castings, specifically Equiax and Nickel Alloys.
  4. Possession of FPI Level I and Level II training certifications that comply with NAS 410 and related certifications.
  5. Documented on-the-job training (OJT) hours in accordance with NAS 410 standards.
  6. Previous examination scores must be documented.
  7. Completion of customer-specific practical exams is required.
  8. Familiarity with industry specifications, standards, methodologies, techniques, core principles, codes, and operating standard inspection equipment.
  9. Completion of an eye exam is mandatory.
  10. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Additional Information

  1. This position is located in Dover, NJ.
  2. Duration of employment is expected to be between 3 to 6 months, with potential for extension.
  3. Shifts available: Level I – Second and Third; Level II – Third.
  4. Standard work hours are 40 hours per week, with overtime as required.
  5. Compensation rates are negotiable.
  6. Reimbursement for expenses incurred during travel.
  7. Per diem is set at $250.00 per day, covering hotel, meals, and car rental.
  8. A car allowance of $200.00 per month is available if a personal vehicle is used.
  9. Travel time compensation from domicile to NJ is $300.00 each way.
  10. GSA mileage reimbursement is provided if a personal vehicle is elected.
  11. Airfare reimbursement is available if applicable.
  12. Reimbursement for airport parking, taxi, or Uber services as necessary.
  13. Completion of an eye exam is required.
