Head of School Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as Head of School at Guidepost Montessori. As the Head of School, you will be responsible for providing leadership to the entire campus team and ensuring the educational experience for each child in every classroom is of the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet the Wisconsin's administrator and center director qualifications.
  • Develop a strategic plan for the campus.
  • Create a strong culture that embodies the mission of our organization.
  • Build a strong community among staff, parents, and children.
  • Ensure delivery of an exceptional program.
  • Ensure overall profitability targets are met (including managing campus budget).
  • Work with the Assistant Head of School to ensure enrollment targets are met.
  • Hire, support, develop, and manage teaching staff.
Requirements:
  • Early childhood education leadership experience in a preschool, charter school, head start, or private school setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a focus on results.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Aptitude for creating a warm and benevolent team culture.
  • Strong leadership and the ability to make the tough decisions with limited information.
  • Passion for getting education right through the Montessori pedagogy.
