Pharmacy Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Menomonee Falls, WI. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispense and deliver medications using our department's information systems, technology, and automation.
  • Provide insurance and third-party billing functions, including data entry of customer and third-party information, obtaining prior authorizations, and investigating and correcting insurance errors.
  • Develop competence in pharmacy operations and procedures, satisfying legal, regulatory, and department requirements on pharmacy practice.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma required
  • Active WI State Registration
  • Previous experience filling and processing prescriptions
  • Good customer service and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to maintain a good attendance record
  • Tech savvy
  • Ability to remain focused and stand on your feet for the entire shift
