Position Overview

As a Logistics Center Operations Supervisor for the second shift, you will oversee a team of non-exempt personnel in our advanced distribution facility. Your role will involve planning, organizing, directing, and supervising daily operations within your assigned shift and area to meet performance objectives. You will manage order selection, replenishment, loading, and shipping processes while ensuring high productivity and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruiting, onboarding, training, and scheduling new team members.
  • Providing employees with the necessary tools and resources to complete their tasks effectively.
  • Monitoring and reallocating resources to meet daily production and delivery targets.
  • Assessing workloads throughout the day to maintain optimal volume levels.
  • Evaluating employee performance to ensure quality and quantity benchmarks are met.
  • Conducting team meetings and ensuring accurate and timely submission of daily reports.
  • Delivering ongoing training to ensure team members meet or exceed productivity standards.
  • Utilizing various reports and procedures to forecast workload and address issues as they arise.
  • Facilitating effective communication across all organizational levels.
  • Analyzing data to make informed business decisions.
  • Building and nurturing high-performance teams while motivating colleagues.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • At least 2 years of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Availability for second shift work, Monday through Friday, with flexibility during peak periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of supervisory experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.

Education

  • High School diploma or GED is required.

Compensation

The typical pay range for this position is between $43,000 and $76,500 annually. This range represents the base salary for all roles within this job grade. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors, including experience, education, and geographic location. This position may also be eligible for bonuses or incentive programs in addition to the base salary.
