Position Overview
The Medicare Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather comprehensive business requirements.
- Developing precise and thorough user stories for the Agile project backlog.
- Defining and overseeing the scope of various business systems initiatives.
- Managing the integrated aspects of functionality, usability, reliability, performance, and support requirements of systems.
- Formulating feature testing strategies and identifying necessary environments.
- Acting as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure that developed solutions meet business objectives.
- Utilizing and mentoring others in the use of tools for requirements definition.
- Proactively identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
- Ensuring that high-level designs, including architectural requirements, are accurately documented and aligned with approved specifications.
- Contributing to the creation of training materials and identifying additional documentation needs in advance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficient experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, and Requirement Yogi.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scaled Agile frameworks.
- Experience with call center applications is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Medicare programs is considered beneficial.
- Prior experience with Siebel CRM is a plus.
Educational Background:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field is required, along with a minimum of three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant certifications are preferred.
