Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to join our Community Living team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing services to individuals living in the community and managing the daily activities of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Program Director in the overall operation of services, ensuring quality services and achieving positive outcomes for clients.
  • Oversee program administration, including staff scheduling, training, and coordination of schedules for staff and clients.
  • Ensure the maintenance of a clean, safe, and healthy environment for individuals served.
  • Coordinate with the Nurse to ensure proper medication administration and documentation.
  • Oversee the use of client and agency funds, including entitlement systems for Medicaid, Medicare, Food Stamps, and Section 8 housing.
  • Assist in the resolution of issues for individuals currently in services and provide on-call support as needed.
  • Assist with program expansion by promoting services and coordinating new referrals.
  • Seek out opportunities to engage in advocacy efforts that preserve the rights of persons served.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree Required; Bachelor's degree in rehabilitation, psychology, or other related major preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in residential services.
  • Must provide own transportation, have valid driver's license, and driving record must meet insurability requirements.
