Compliance and Risk Management Specialist

Southeastern Integrated Care LLC is seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and operationalizing quality and compliance procedures to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry best-practices.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a compliance-related field, with a strong understanding of industry laws and regulations. A bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, legal studies, management, healthcare, or a related field is required. The ability to analyze and interpret complex data, negotiate, problem-solve, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines is essential.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a written quality improvement plan and annual evaluation of its effectiveness.
- Manage electronic storage of quality improvement reports to promote ongoing access for key stakeholders.
- Oversee a corporate compliance program, including development and maintenance of a written corporate compliance plan and annual evaluation of its effectiveness.
- Ensure timely data collection, aggregation, analysis, and reporting of established performance measures related to key operational and clinical processes and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and VP of Program Operations in the investigation of clinical events, including sentinel events, near misses, and significant adverse events.
- Conduct documentation audits as needed and create compliance trainings.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a related field (preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience in a compliance-related field
- Strong leadership skills and ability to negotiate, problem-solve, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace applications
- CPR, first aid, NCI, and/or role-related certification OR within 3 months of hire
