We are seeking a skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team at Akahi Associates. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Family Medicine, including outpatient clinical and procedural services, and the ability to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages.

Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $250,000 per year

About the Role:

As a Primary Care Physician with Akahi Associates, you will be responsible for providing full-spectrum Family Medicine care to our patients. This includes routine general family medicine care, preventive medicine, care for acute and chronic patient conditions, musculoskeletal conditions, pediatrics, and women's health. You will also be expected to participate in meetings, professional staff conferences, and other appropriate professional activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality medical care to patients of all ages, including routine check-ups, sick visits, and referrals to specialists as needed.
  • Document medical records accurately and thoroughly, within 72 business hours of each encounter.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices in Family Medicine.

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Family Medicine or a related field.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in Tennessee.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Family Medicine, preferably in an ambulatory setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and other software applications used in healthcare.
