We are in search of a Procurement Representative to assist in the solicitation of proposals, negotiation, awarding, and management of commercial acquisitions of goods and services. This role necessitates close collaboration with suppliers, program offices, and management. Timely delivery and teamwork are crucial for success in this position. We operate in a fast-paced team environment and are continuously seeking individuals with innovative problem-solving abilities.

As a Procurement Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing incoming purchase requests, soliciting bids, and negotiating & issuing commercial purchase orders.
  • Utilizing SharePoint and other business systems for documenting procurement activities.
  • Collaborating closely with fellow procurement personnel and management.
  • Maintaining regular communication with program and project managers, prime contract managers, and suppliers.

Qualifications:

You meet our basic qualifications if you possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional procurement experience, including placing purchase orders, issuing RFQs, evaluating bids, negotiating with vendors, and supporting technical teams in award decisions.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.
  • Independence in work execution.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with SharePoint for document management, ServiceNow for communication, Adobe Portfolio, and/or Oracle-based business systems.
  • Experience in processing commercial or federal procurements.
  • Experience in Supply Chain management for Space or NASA-related programs.
