Job Title: Commercial Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our team at Griffin Construction LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and direct commercial construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Organize and process RFI's, Submittals, ASI's, and PR's.
  • Review projects in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  • Ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance.
  • Review work progress daily and update schedules weekly.
  • Prepare internal and external reports on job status.
  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve emerging ones.
  • Negotiate terms of agreements.
  • Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and proper techniques.
  • Manage and assist in bidding projects.
  • Run weekly Owner and Contractor meetings.
  • Complete monthly billings.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
  • Proven working experience in construction management.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
  • Expert with construction management and scheduling software packages.
  • Ability to plan and see the big picture.
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Expert ability to read and understand drawings and specs.
