Job Summary

Praetorian Power Protection LLC is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Prineville, OR. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will work closely with our commissioning team to ensure the successful completion of datacenter construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning Levels 2-5: Collaborate with clients, owners, and trade partners to ensure compliance with program standards and validate equipment documentation.
  • Issue Resolution: Assist trade partners in resolving issues and ensure quality and compliance with contract documents.
  • Site Walks and Inspections: Perform site walks to review installations for quality and compliance with contract documents.
  • Functional Testing: Support functional testing with trade contractors and identify, document, and track issues as found during testing.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with project entities, including clients, engineers, and contractors.
  • Schedule Management: Assist with building and maintaining the project commissioning schedule and identify and resolve commissioning schedule constraints.
  • Cx Coordination Meetings: Facilitate Cx coordination meetings and communicate clearly with all project entities.
Requirements
  • Certification: Current CxA/CBCP certification is a plus, but not required.
  • Education: Degree in construction or engineering fields is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience: Three to five years' experience in commercial construction industry.
  • Driver's License: Current driver's license and must be insurable with no major infractions.
Compensation Package
  • Hourly Rate: $50-$60/hour DOE + Bonus.
  • Benefits: Medical plan, 401K plan, paid PTO and sick leave.
