Position Overview:

The Scheduling Coordinator plays a pivotal role in addressing the scheduling requirements of all clients.
Responsibilities include professionally and efficiently managing incoming calls.
Ensuring that all clients receive assistance in a courteous manner is essential.
The Scheduling Coordinator will collaborate closely with the scheduling team to maintain comprehensive client care and ensure the schedule is fully populated.
Filling any gaps and informing clients about their caregivers is crucial.
Timely communication regarding missed shifts and contacting caregivers is vital to ensure they are present for their shifts.
If caregivers are delayed, maintaining communication with clients is of utmost importance.
At the conclusion of each scheduled shift, the Scheduling Coordinator is tasked with sending a detailed report to all team members.

  • The Scheduling Coordinator will oversee on-call caregivers to ensure they remain focused on their tasks.
  • In cases of caregiver absence, the Scheduling Coordinator will either fill the shift, assign an on-call caregiver, or, as a last resort, cover the shift personally.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working clinically with adults in either acute or long-term care environments.
  • Experience working with older adults facing memory challenges, including Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is essential.
  • Availability for Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
