Psychiatric Nurse Specialist

At Ansible Government Solutions, we are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our team in supporting the Miami VA Healthcare System. As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, assess patients' physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and administer medications as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care and assess patients' needs
- Administer medications and educate patients about treatment options
- Utilize resources to document and track patients with high-risk needs
- Identify urgent or emergent patient care situations and seek assistance when necessary
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse academic program (BSN or ADN)
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in at least one state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Three (3) years of recent Inpatient Psychiatric RN work experience
