About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Garde Manger Supervisor to oversee the preparation and presentation of cold foods in our kitchen. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality, sanitation, and presentation.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare a variety of cold foods while ensuring food quality, presentation, and sanitation standards are met.
  • Verify that all portion sizes, recipes, quality standards, and department rules are maintained by kitchen associates.
  • Partner with service personnel and restaurant managers to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Maintain all kitchen equipment in good working order and ensure cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezers.
  • Effectively supervise the breakdown, rotation, labeling, dating, food temperatures, and storage of food.
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines.
Requirements
  • No college degree required.
  • At least two years' experience as a line cook, including supervisory experience.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others and lead in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attentive and detail-oriented.
  • Basic math skills with an ability to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions.
