Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Director to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our affordable housing communities, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional service and that our properties are well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met.
  • Communication: Provide excellent communication and customer service to residents, vendors, and clients, ensuring that all interactions are professional and effective.
  • Employee Management: Supervise and develop the site team members, including participating in the hiring, training, and evaluation of employees.
  • Leasing/Occupancy: Maintain occupancy levels as established by budget expectations, oversee leasing activities, and develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new residents.
  • Revenue Management: Manage the maximum revenue potential of the property through the management of lease expirations, timely turnover, and accurate processing of vendor invoices.
  • Reporting and Document Management: Maintain accurate and confidential resident files, ensure compliance with FPI Standard Operating Procedures, and meet all periodic reporting requirements.
  • Risk Management: Ensure compliance with risk management items, including timely reporting of injuries, illnesses, and property damage, and maintain current permits and licenses.
  • Facility Maintenance: Assist residents with reporting maintenance needs, document facility and maintenance needs, and ensure timely completion.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in property management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
