Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee communications with external legal counsel regarding transactional or litigation matters.
  • Prepare, modify, and evaluate legal documents such as leases, amendments, construction contracts, vendor agreements, property management contracts, and other pertinent documentation.
  • Draft and uphold corporate records including operating agreements, resolutions, and internal memos.
  • Manage all insurance-related matters for the corporation, its General Partners, and Venture LPs, including property and liability coverage.
  • Maintain primary relationships with brokers, claims adjusters, defense attorneys, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Represent the firm in negotiations during the due diligence phase, engaging with seller agents, lenders, and equity partners.
  • Conduct research on real estate inquiries or issues and compile summaries for internal reference.
  • Engage in business negotiations alongside the leadership team.
  • Stay informed on current regulations, policies, and best practices within the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) sector.

Compensation: Competitive salary range of $250,000 - $275,000.
