Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Catering Director to lead our catering team and develop exceptional new dishes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing catering events, creating innovative menus, and overseeing culinary execution to ensure memorable dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Catering Management:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee catering events, ensuring flawless execution from preparation to final presentation.
  • Work directly with clients to understand their needs and expectations, offering customized culinary solutions.
  • Manage the catering budget, ensuring efficiency and profitability for events.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and staff to ensure the quality and availability of necessary ingredients and equipment.
  • Resolve issues and adjust plans as needed to ensure client satisfaction.

New Menu Development:

  • Create and design innovative and appealing menus that cater to various occasions and client preferences.
  • Research and apply culinary trends, seasonal ingredients, and modern techniques to keep the menu fresh and relevant.
  • Supervise and collaborate with the kitchen team to test, refine, and perfect new recipes.
  • Ensure that all new dishes meet established quality and presentation standards.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Supervise, train, and motivate the catering team, including chefs, assistants, and service staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for ongoing team development.
  • Coordinate catering logistics and ensure operational efficiency for all events.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote catering services and attract new clients.
  • Participate in planning and strategy meetings to align culinary offerings with company goals.
  • Represent the company at industry events and fairs, establishing relationships and promoting the brand.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Culinary Arts, Culinary Science, Restaurant Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in catering management and menu development in a professional environment.
  • Experience in leadership and team management.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, industry trends, and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and events simultaneously.
  • Creativity and passion for gastronomy.
