Job Description

The Office Supervisor plays a critical role in managing, overseeing, and ensuring the successful administrative, financial, and operational aspects of an urgent care location. Key responsibilities include:

Site Management
  • Managing site performance, understanding patient flow, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assisting the Practice Manager in preparing schedules, ordering supplies, and opening/closing the site as required.
People Management
  • Building strong relationships with providers and staff to enhance practice success.
  • Coaching, managing, and developing staff to ensure professionalism and high-quality patient care.
Business and Patient Management
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA requirements.
  • Interacting with patients and families, resolving disputes, and reviewing patient satisfaction cards.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in management or business preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of supervising or managing experience; or a degree in management.
  • Ability to multitask, excellent communication skills, and comfort with delivering constructive feedback.

Additional Information: This role requires long shifts, weekends, and on-site work. Physical requirements include lifting heavy objects, repetitive tasks, and light cleaning. Direct reports will be site employees. Pay Range: $22-25/hr.
