Job Title: Territory Manager

Established mining and aggregates company seeks a sales professional to join our dynamic team in the building and construction materials industry.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Territory Manager to manage a specific territory, develop new business relationships, and maintain existing ones. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating revenue and achieving the company's sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the designated territory to ensure maximum sales and profitability.
  • Generate leads and convert them into sales by employing effective sales strategies.
  • Engage in cold calling and prospecting to expand the customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with both existing and potential clients.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to offer suitable products or services.
  • Implement effective account management strategies to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to the management.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in territory sales, particularly in the construction industry.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, lead generation, and account management.
  • Solid experience in cold calling, prospecting, and outside sales.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of RMX concrete, concrete & aggregates, aggregates, paving, and civil contracting.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
