Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 Days Remote, 2 Days Onsite)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday - 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (37.50 hours/Week)
Compensation: $24.22 per hour on W2
Qualifications:
Education:
- Associate's Degree in education, communication, or a health-related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in a customer service support role is essential.
Skills and Certifications:
- Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight or collaborate effectively within a team setting.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational capabilities.
- Proficient in independent decision-making and problem-solving.
- Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of medical terminology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in educational outreach calls to inform members about available benefits, services, and programs; conduct health needs assessments, and guide members towards appropriate health management programs.
- Proactively contact members with identified care gaps; motivate and assist them in becoming compliant, including help with provider location and appointment scheduling.
- Oversee system work queues; assess member eligibility, review prior case activities, claims, customer service inquiries, and authorization history; assign members to the clinical team for outreach and intervention.
- Facilitate research and analysis of inquiries or complaints related to processes, member incentives, and other program-related issues.
Willingness to work overtime as required. Various immunizations and/or associated medical tests may be necessary.
