Qualifications:

Education:
- Associate's Degree in education, communication, or a health-related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in a customer service support role is essential.

- Strong interpersonal and organizational capabilities.

- Comprehensive understanding of medical terminology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in educational outreach calls to inform members about available benefits, services, and programs; conduct health needs assessments, and guide members towards appropriate health management programs.
  • Proactively contact members with identified care gaps; motivate and assist them in becoming compliant, including help with provider location and appointment scheduling.
  • Oversee system work queues; assess member eligibility, review prior case activities, claims, customer service inquiries, and authorization history; assign members to the clinical team for outreach and intervention.
  • Facilitate research and analysis of inquiries or complaints related to processes, member incentives, and other program-related issues.

Willingness to work overtime as required. Various immunizations and/or associated medical tests may be necessary.
