About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps team lead to join our team of cloud native architects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing secure web applications and leading distributed software delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Propose, develop, and support customer-facing web applications as a DevSecOps team member.
  • Provide hands-on solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Architect, design, and deliver high-quality code independently by following industry best practices.
  • Understand and make well-reasoned design decisions and tradeoffs in your work.
  • Diagnose and fix production issues.
  • Communicate with the development lead to raise issues and anticipate potential barriers.
  • Build enterprise applications at-scale using expertise in computer science fundamentals.
  • Develop scalable, high availability, high performance components with a deep understanding of front end and back-end architectures.
  • Seek empirical evidence through proof of concepts, tests, and external research.
  • Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of software development experience and/or commensurate skills building commercial applications with modern software engineering principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated record of successfully leading distributed software delivery teams using Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps practices.
  • Proficiency with cloud technologies such as AWS, Serverless, Event Driven Architecture, SOA, MicroServices, Microfrontend, CI/CD, Infrastructure as code, and other modern technologies.
  • Proficiency with professional software engineering practices and the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, architecture/design patterns, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

Estimated Salary Range: $150,000 - $220,000 per year
