Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as a Box Office representative, Ticket Taker, Usher, and/or Court Monitor based on event requirements and assignments.
  • Possess knowledge of general offerings and specific details for day-of events.

  • Provide outstanding customer service at all times.
  • Address all incidents, accidents, injuries, and conflicts promptly.
  • Assist in resolving guest issues and/or direct them to the appropriate management personnel.
  • Maintain composure in fast-paced and/or high-pressure situations.
Roles
  • Box Office: Facilitate day-of ticket sales using computer software, process credit card transactions, and manage cash handling.
  • Ticket Taker: Verify event entry by scanning tickets and welcoming attendees to the venue.
  • Usher: Guide guests throughout the facility while providing general assistance and monitoring designated areas.
  • Court Monitor: Oversee assigned courts and spaces to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Event Setup/Takedown: Assist in moving, stacking, unloading, and loading equipment necessary for events.

Qualifications

Language Skills: Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures or regulations in English. Ability to accurately complete incident reports. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate remaining seats to ensure spectator limits are maintained. Capability to estimate volume and area.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply sound judgment in resolving conflicts that may arise.

Computer Skills: Knowledge of Google Suite and operation of Windows-based PCs and peripherals (e.g., printers, scanners, barcode readers, cameras, etc.) is essential.
