Job Title: Production Manager

At National Fruit Product, we are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of all production-related manufacturing processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and measure standard metrics to track process performance
  • Diagram the flow of business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Develop project plans for implementing improvements and monitoring new processes
  • Drive continuous improvement in labor costs through waste reduction, production efficiency, and operations improvement
  • Evaluate current processes for efficiency gains and improvements in safety and ergonomics
  • Develop and support new manufacturing processes
  • Use statistical analysis to determine opportunities for improvement in Plant Operations
Requirements:
  • Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques; Green or Black Belt certification a plus
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer proficiency and data analysis skills
  • Quality orientation and high attention to detail
Education and Experience:

Minimum of 4 years related experience in a manufacturing setting required. High School Graduate/GED and SQF certification preferred.
